My life has changed….Recently I embarked on a spiritual/humanistic observation of some ancient cultures such as the Mayans, Egyptians, and most importantly…..the Sumerians. I found almost more than i could take in, but with profound searching and re-searching, still…..the fact remains….Our ancient cultures knew more of our origin than what anyone could imagine, and the way we live life today in our “materialistic” world isn’t quite right. With this understanding of “new” knowledge, Meditation and the power of positive energy, it’s as if I’ve woken up from a bad dream….and now am able to slightly grasp at what goal needs to be reached…to bring the people together. We all need to realize we are in this world together, not separately. Don’t spread unnecessary violence and discrimination when there is no called reason for it….. If we want this world to change, WE must do this to experience a higher level of “consciousness”. With this power of higher level of thought, we will usher in the new age of progression for mankind, instead of being at a constant stagnant dimmed down version of our true selves. IF you have any intelligence at all as a human being, you will see at least some form of truth in what I’m saying…My main reason for writing music basically is to try to spread positive vibes. I Just finished summing up my first album labeled “Lucidity” consisting of 15 tracks and 60 minutes long…all songs are for limited free downloads at http://soundcloud.com/. If you don’t like my style? Oh well…..more people in the world that might :D Namaste… and may love and peace be seen worldwide.

I HIGHLY recommend on of the two books below as a good starting point, they both pretty much seem to sum it up quite well…..and yea, I researched the hell out of them and if you find a flaw, let me know because i found very few…..

The truth:

I stumbled into DJing at the turn of the millennium hoping to write trance music. It turns out writing dance music on two record players is pretty difficult. So I built a little career as a DJ and worked my way up to using Pro Tools in my spare time. I play synth, piano, ukulele, sing a bit, and love to produce progressive breakbeat. As of late, I’m trying my hand at producing electro house.

Good Music Is Not Extinct

Download our Dino-Riders Mix Free

Renowned archaeologist, Ronald Cornelius, recently stumbled across the remains of a new species of dinosaur during a routine excavation along the coast of Oakland, CA. He transported the remains to his nearby home for further investigation. After a night of heavy drinking in celebration of his discovery, Cornelius returned home to a remarkable sight: The fossils had coalesced into two living creatures, apparently due to their close proximity to his extensive record collection. The creatures, startled by his return, stormed into his basement and, in a careless tail-waving mishap, uncovered his collection of fantastic vintage synthesizers and assorted musical oddities. As Cornelius turned to phone the local authorities, he began to hear strange noises emanating from his basement. A biting sawtooth bass sound from his old Micromoog, a snare from that obscure Macedonian prog-rock record his sister-in-law gave him, talk-box gibberish, his Wurlitzer, claps, snaps, feedback, and the unmistakable chant “boss-a-saurus, boss-boss-asaurus”.

Egon Brainparts and Negatron Johnson are Bossasaurus. They actually both have mothers with fingernails, belly buttons and opposable thumbs. They did not coalesce from a heap of bones. They make genre-defying electronic music using a smorgasbord of analog synthesizers, effects, unique instruments and self-collected micro-samples. They don’t use prefab loops. They don’t sample dance hits from 2001, loop them, add a snare or two, call it “Stronger” and then strut around like they’re the hottest thing since sliced bread. They hate on bad music. They make good music. They are meticulous about what they do and listeners across the world are taking notice. Recent reviews such as the following from vimby.com further validate this belief, “If you like funk/jazz, electronic/banging, hip-hop/trip-hop or old school/futuristic sampling, then you have great taste in music and are going to love this group…They are surely all of the above done to absolute perfection.”

Bossasaurus is currently busy putting the final touches on their debut album. They are wrapping up recording the song “Guidance” with Weightless records emcee Illogic, and are exploring collaborations with other talented artists for their upcoming release. They are working with clothing designers to start manufacturing their own line of hoodies, complete with teeth, eyes, and anatomically accurate plates running down the back. Bossasaurus has received enthusiastic responses from a diverse array of fans spanning from Aesop Rock-reciting hip-hop heads to glow-stick twirling Justice groupies to crate-digging DJ Shadow fans. Emmy-award winning producer Asa Taccone of SNL’s Dick-in-the-Box fame called Bossasaurus, “the hottest music I’ve heard in a while man, seriously”. And who knows, feel around on the side of your head, and if you have ears you might like them too.

Rockin many of house parties all thru the basscoast and more recently w/ 321e all through the ‘07 at THE DUMP! Also played a few other shows across the central Florida region from Orlando to Ocala. Previously I also hosted a radio show for nearly a year on Orbitalgrooves.com and provided a few guest appearance’s with my boy Brutha Mike on Counterfeitbeats.com. Somewhere around 2005 I began Producing but only for a moment other elements of life overtook that opportunity and my production work halted also my dj’ing came to a near ending. But the circumstance’s surrounding those choice’s have since moved on and mid 2007 I found myself back in the EDM scene back where I was before but with a bigger desire then I ever had!!! Returning to producing in the end of 2007 I’ve brought on a different style more influence from the miami electro scene but still funky Florida style with a hint of nuskool hope u enjoy!!
Now working alongside my partner in crime Dwellz hailing from the bass capital of the world Miami brought about the idea to form a group and upon that idea in early 2008 Devine Disorder Record’s was born. Our first release The Devine Takeover vol 1 mixed by myself twas released in early january 2008 all unreleased original tracks that caught attention from various aspects of the edm community, clubbingspain.com, and now we’ve droped The Devine Takeover Vol 2 you should see a image below this!!! About VS23

VS23 started Djing in the Pittsburgh party scene back in ‘98, affiliated with Candy Gang
Productions as well as Rise Up!. Later he moved to Puerto Rico, and was the scratch dj for the group, Slimy Nuggetz (Tenet Records). While in Puerto Rico, he performed on several television shows, including “Tarde en la Noche con Luis Gonzales”(The Late Show), “Frente Sonico” (Sonic Front), and the “Sprite Spring Break TV Tour”. Over the years, he’s played shows in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Philadelphia, State College, Baltimore, Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, London, UK and on Drum n Bass TV’s radio show on the worldwide web(www.dnbtv.com). Also his original productions have been played on the Mixdown FM Radio show in Nashville, TN, as well as a several online radio stations.

After taking a six year break from public performances, he came back in 2007 performing at Play 3.0 and Play Breaks Edition, and as a result gained a slew of other bookings, and a new crew affiliation- Bad Moral Character. Already in 2008 he’s played on Drum n Bass TV several times (www.dnbtv.com), as well Twisted Production’s “Heaven On Earth”, BMC’s “Dance Out Loud” in March, and “Wardance” on May 3rd, as well as a headlining slot at Rehab Records’ “Tantric” in Virginia on May 2nd. Since May, VS23 has rocked out in the main room at two Tru Skool parties (one of them opening for the legendary Dj Dara), as well as one of the headlining slots at “Pulse” in Baltimore. Closing out 2009, VS23 played at Schmacked with Decibel Flekx, A23P and Darrel Asbury, then rocked a headlining slot at the successful new years eve event- 2009, An Intergalactic Toga Party. In 2009, he played from 1-2 at the Concept Crew Drum n Bass sessions, rocking the crowd for his 30th birthday set. Though Breaks are his specialty, VS23 is known for his diversity in genres, so don’t be surprised to hear some Drum n Bass, UK garage, Electro, House, Techno, Trance, Hip Hop and even Ghettotech.
